The industries that   we represent are le pedestal de industry European. Offerers de materials industries to ensure to chains de valeur downstream, the sites concerned are le ? often energy intensive et submitted à another competition extra European strong.

The industries we represent are the bedrock of European industry. As suppliers of materials needed in downstream value chains, the sites concerned are usually energy-intensive and subject to strong competition from outside Europe.

In this respect, the competitiveness of our members is a guarantee of that of their customers. A source of decarbonization and security, fundamental for the achievement of the dual energy and digital transition, there is an absolute necessity for the conditions of fair competition to be reestablished.

  • In this context, the conditions of access to electricity, the needs of which are growing, and for some to green or low-carbon hydrogen, or to biomass, are critical.
  • Likewise, products entering the European market and benefiting from "specific" conditions in their country of origin, are all dangers for competitiveness of our industrialists.

A3M insists that the elements be brought together so that the industrial fabric can be maintained on French territory and can develop.

Heavily invested in new and innovative projects, French and European financial support must continue and develop. This can be done within the framework of:

  • Calls for Projects (such as the Critical Metals Call for Proposals),
  • of Projects of Common Important European Interest or
  • from the Innovation Fund.
  • A3M is also in contact with the INFRAVIA fund targeting critical metals.

Many exciting professions exist among our manufacturers, often overlooked, and yet which lead all generations to pursue often extraordinary careers.

  • A3M worked with its members, IMT Mines d'Alès, the CSF NSE and other organizations to make proposals as part of the Call for Expressions of Interest in Skills and Jobs of the Future.
