On Tuesday, January 6, 2026, companies in the mining and metals sector elected the new Board of Directors of their professional federation, A3M, for the 2026-2027 term.
Representing in a balanced way the stakeholders in the steel industry, non-ferrous metals metallurgy, mining and metal recycling, the 13 newly elected directors are:

- Vincent Dufief, VP Public Affairs, Security and Communication at IMERYS: Vice-President,
- David Valenti, Director of International Affairs for the RIVA Group: Treasurer.

A3M, resulting from the effective merger of the French Steel Federation (FFA) and the Federation of Ores, Industrial Minerals and Non-Ferrous Metals (FEDEM) carried out at the end of 2025, therefore now has its first Board of Directors in its final format.
A3M represents companies with operations in France in the mining, metallurgy, and steel industries. Its members are involved in all upstream operations: from extraction, refining, production, and primary processing to metallurgical recycling.
Members represent the foundation of French and European industry, essential links in industrial development, ecological transition and strategic autonomy of sectors to guarantee their sovereignty.
In this context, the new Board of Directors will ensure that:
- To represent all member stakeholders, in their diversity of profession, size and organization
- To represent the sector's interests to French and European public authorities
- Promote exchanges with downstream industrial chain stakeholders and their representatives.
