A3M – Alliance of Minerals, Ores and Metals – welcomes the evolution of the industrial doctrine expressed by the President of the Republic during his visit to the Allier region on April 22, 2026. By stating that the French industrial strategy must be based simultaneously on competitiveness, sovereignty and decarbonization, the Head of State is endorsing an approach that the metals industry has long advocated.
A3M is particularly pleased with the place now recognized for the enamel, transformation and recycling some metals in the French industrial strategy.
Metals are indeed the material condition of the economic sovereignty et technology, energy and climate transition and reindustrialization from the country.
This dynamic is concretely reflected in the commitment of major players in the sector, including Imerys, Eramet, Lithium de France, Carester, MagREEEsource, Mecaware, Vulkam, Orano, PAM, Aubert & Duval, Erasteel and Ugitech - Ugiring, who are developing structuring projects on the national territory for industrial sovereignty, reindustrialization and ecological transition.
