The company manufactures hot-dip galvanized and pre-painted steels, marketed in the form of coils, sheets (or flat sheets) and slit strips for the automotive industry (manufacturers and subcontractors), construction, general industry, metal furniture manufacturers, among others. The site's production capacities are 400 kt of hot-dip galvanized steel and 120 kt of pre-painted steel.
NLMK Strasbourg, a long-standing specialist in the metallic and organic coating of steel, is a recognized historical supplier in the demanding automotive market. With a wide range of products and services, it adds value to the steels rolled by NLMK La Louvière.
- The main lines of the plant are:
The galvanizing line: transforms the cold rolled steel from the La Louvière plant into hot-dip galvanized coils. Its production capacity is 400 tonnes per year. - The pre-painting line: galvanized coils are coated with organic paint systems. The line can produce up to 120 tons per year
- The slitting line: offers the possibility of finishing hot-dip galvanized and pre-painted coils according to a wide range of different widths and weights.
These products (hot-dip galvanized, pre-painted coils and slit strips) are intended for the automotive industry, construction and general industry.
