LEMER, a low-melting-point alloy foundry, was founded in 1878 by the LEMER family. It has always been located in the Nantes region of France. Today, the lead foundry remains in the LEMER family's hands for three generations.
Lemer Fonderie specializes in the manufacture of lead parts and low melting point alloys in various fields: Fishing, diving, sailing, ballast, radiation protection, industry...So as many areas as there are products: fishing weights, radioactive shielding bricks, keels and bulbs for boats, counterweights, shot, diving belt buckles, anodes, containers, seals...
Its French-made products are exported worldwide: Asia, North America, Africa... And Lemer Fonderie is currently working on alloys such as zinc, tin, bismuth, tungsten... which can replace lead, in order to allow it to expand its possibilities.
