Dillinger France, a subsidiary since 1992 of one of the world's leading producers of heavy-duty, wide steel sheets, high quality Dillinger, has been established on more than 80 hectares since 1962 in the north of France…
German quality made in France…
The company can produce more than 600000 tons of heavy plate per year at its Dunkirk site. Its location near ports, rivers, sea, rail, and road networks makes it an ideal site for exporting its products.
Dillinger sheets are used all over the world for the realization of different types of projects, in particular in offshore wind, metal and mechanical construction, sheet metal manufacturing for tubes (linepipe) and boilermaking sectors.
Some examples of achievements in France: Millau Viaduct, Simone de Beauvoir Footbridge in Paris, Le Monde Building in Paris, Lille Stadium… and many others around the world!

An Offshore Wind professional based in France
Dillinger France is the only company located in France to produce this type of product for the offshore wind market.
De 2019 à 2022, more than 30 million euros were invested solely on the Dillinger France site, to strengthen the positioning of the Dillinger group in the offshore wind market, in particular through the renovation and acquisition of new installations enabling us to respond ever more precisely to the specifications of our commercial partners.
The Dillinger Group is listed in more than 80 wind projects.

Concerned about the environment, Dillinger France has certifications attesting to its policy towards environmental protection and the rational management of its resources within the framework of its activity. Beyond these certifications, Dillinger France was awarded in 2021 assistance from ADEME as part of the renovation of one of its slab reheating furnaces (raw material), thus enabling it to reduce its CO1 emissions by 2 300 tonnes per year, or 2,7% of the industrial site’s emissions.
This investment is fully in line with the Dillinger group's "green" steel approach, which was inaugurated in August 2020, the first hydrogen-based steel production facility in Germany at its blast furnaces in Germany, thanks to an investment of 14 millions of euros.
